Agata i Bartek wreszcie zdobywają dla kancelarii dochodowego klienta. To szanowany biznesmen zajmujący się eksportem mebli do Niemiec. Pech chce, że tego samego dnia mężczyzna zostaje oskarżony o przemyt narkotyków. Zarzuty są absurdalne i wszystko wskazuje na to, że biznesmen został wrobiony przez konkurencję. Agata bezskutecznie usiłuje przekonać do tej wersji nadgorliwą młodą panią prokurator, gdy otrzymuje nagły telefon z Bydgoszczy: jej ojciec miał zawał. Dębski ponownie jedzie z Agatą w rodzinne strony i pomaga jej ogarnąć sytuację. Andrzej jest w śpiączce farmakologicznej, ale jego stan jest stabilny. Agata się zamartwia, Marek jest przy niej. W domu Doroty niespodziewanie zjawia się matka Wojtka.
