Sian also meets nutrition therapist Ian Marber to tackle ready meals and unpack whether fresh or frozen is best on value for money, taste and nutrition.

Sian Williams and nutrition therapist Ian Marber tackle vegan burgers, finding out how they compare in terms of nutrition and taste, and which are the best value for money. Plus, Phil Vickery prepares his own healthy, low-cost version of one of the UK's favourite dishes, and there is a look at pre-prepared recipe boxes.

Phil takes on one of our takeaway favourites - so which delicious dish will claim number 4 in our countdown this week? And it may be easy for Phil but this week triplets from Stourbridge see if they can follow Phil's recipe to the letter in their own kitchen.
Sian investigates what's money well spent in our shopping baskets – this week Sian and Nutrition Therapist Ian Marber look at non-dairy alternatives to the good old pint of milk. Can almond, soya and oat milk compete with regular milk in both nutrition and cost?

Episode 6
This week it's all about chocolate! Sian dons her apron alongside Nutrition Therapist Ian Marber and tries her hand at cooking up some zero sugar chocolate treats. They may have no sugar but how do they compare on calories and cost?
And we'll be asking, is it possible to get a taste of luxury chocolate at an affordable price? Our group of trusty taste testers will take part in a blind taste test pitching an international award winning chocolate against the cheapest supermarket own brand bar. Which will get their taste buds tingling?
We also look at the best way of getting your 5 a day as we discover which products are better eaten fresh, tinned or frozen and which will keep our wallets healthier too.

This week we continue our countdown of our top 10 favourite family dishes, and we challenge Phil Vickery to wow us with his own super healthy, low cost and of course mouth-watering version. This week we're onto the runner up - which delicious dish will claim the number two in our countdown? It may be easy for Phil, but will this week's Save Money family be able to cook up the same meal in their own kitchen?
Sian investigates what's money well spent in our shopping baskets – this week she joins nutrition therapist Ian Marber look at the latest trend of foods with "added protein". Do our diets need a protein boost and are these food products worth in terms of both nutrition and cost?
We also look at high street coffee reward schemes - how much do you have to spend before you get your free cup?
And we'll be putting kitchen gadgets to the test to see whether they can make those everyday chores easier and to find what's out there at what price. This week, four bottle openers from the everyday to the super luxe are put through a Save Money road test.

Episode 8
In this final episode, Sian and nutrition therapist Ian Marber look at the latest food trends. What's hot and what's really not. As well as savoury ice cream, they look at insects as potential mainstream food, and Sian even tries some.
Plus, we'll be putting kitchen gadgets to the test to see whether they can make those everyday chores easier and to find what's out there at what price. This week four tin openers from the everyday to the super luxe are put through a Save Money road test.
