In Ipswich, three competing sellers snoop round each other's houses searching for inspiration on how to improve their own homes, hoping to impress first-time buyers Steve and Sam. While Anna revamps an abandoned bedroom and a confused dining room, Andrew and Rebecca must bring their dated house up to speed, and Derek and Debbie need to make better use of the log cabin in their garden.

Buckinghamshire
In Buckinghamshire, three competing sellers snoop round each other's houses searching for the inspiration they need to spruce up their property and, hopefully, draw an offer from potential buyers Liz and Olly. Jill and Chris revamp their mismatched kitchen and lounge. Ann tackles her kitchen, which hasn't been touched in 25 years. And Liz and Colin's take a good long look at their chaotic dining room and their son's tatty bedroom.

Thames Valley
Three homeowners in the Thames Valley snoop around each other's houses looking for inspiration on how to improve their own - hoping to attract an offer from buyer Lesley. DIY enthusiast Richard and his wife Carrie must make their virtually empty house warm and inviting. Susan and Hamnet get a lesson in design, as they attempt to bring style and texture to their chaotic bedroom and lounge. And Paul and Shirley turn their daughter's massage parlour back into a bedroom.

Essex
In Essex, Barrie and Janet tackle their frumpy front room, Robert's semi gets some much-needed attention, and Joanne changes her home from stark to cosy.

Louise is the bunny ears-wearing youngest daughter with an off-kilter sense of humor that makes her somewhat of a liability in the kitchen – and with the public.
