Moscow, our days. A city of big money and passions, magnificent women and wealthy men, social events and dangerous intrigues. Here beautiful girls dream of falling into the world of luxury, flowing silks and sparkling jewelry, and there are people who deftly fit them into the safe hands of wealthy men. Arriving in the capital, Dasha, an art critic from the province, dreams of a new, better life, but the mysterious death of her friend, the mistress of an influential official Marina, changes everything.

Investigator Elena Shirokova, the best in her department, honest and principled, takes on the key to solving the girl's death. The investigation brings her into the world of metropolitan glamor and introduces the oligarch Gleb Olkhovsky. However, the chain of deaths does not end at the Marina, and the life of Lena herself begins to change dramatically.
