Helen Skelton and Jules Hudson are back at Cannon Hall Farm in South Yorkshire, where the Nicholson brothers Rob and Dave work night and day during the lambing season, while Adam Henson presents from his farm in the Cotswolds as he carries out timely tasks with his rare breeds. Plus, reports from JB Gill and stars of The Yorkshire Vet.

Adam Henson, Helen Skelton and Jules Hudson witness the drama, joy and jeopardy as British farmers take on the mantle of midwife to millions of livestock and attempt to deliver each lamb, calf, goat kid and foal successfully, while also preparing their farms and animals for the year ahead.
