Adam Henson is back in the lambing barn as the wave of births hits a new high. Yorkshire Vet Rohin Aojula attends a life-or-death emergency as a pygmy goat struggles to give birth.

The Nicholson brothers fight to save the life of a rare type of Swiss Valais sheep, and a foal from much loved Shire horse Ruby fights to recover from a difficult birth. Elsewhere, there's a visit to a remote farm in the Pennines where spring always arrives a little later than in the rest of the North of England, and Adam Henson reports from his farm in the Cotswolds.
