The roads and skies will be packed on Sunday as millions travel home after the long Fourth of July holiday weekend. Tropical Storm Chantal came ashore along the coast of South Carolina, and it is expected to bring up to six inches of rain along with rip currents and rough surf at the beaches. Chantal is the first named storm of the hurricane season to hit the United States. President Donald Trump is scheduled to welcome Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to the White House Monday as Israel and Hamas appear to make progress on ceasefire negotiations. The two leaders are also expected to discuss the recent strikes by both the U.S. and Israel against Iran and its nuclear facilities. The rift between President Donald Trump and his one-time ally Elon Musk is growing with the richest person in the world saying he will create a new political party in response to the passing of Trump's massive tax and spending bill. Musk says the new political party, called the America Party, could target just a handful of seats in Congress and then act as a the deciding votes on key laws. NBC's Yamiche Alcindor reports for Sunday TODAY. With the movie industry facing numerous challenges, theater owners and Hollywood are betting big on summer blockbusters like "F1: The Movie" and "Jurassic World Rebirth" to encourage audiences to return to the big screen.
