Tropical Storm Chantal came ashore along the coast of South Carolina, and it is expected to bring up to six inches of rain along with rip currents and rough surf at the beaches. Chantal is the first named storm of the hurricane season to hit the United States. The two leaders are also expected to discuss the recent strikes by both the U.S. and Israel against Iran and its nuclear facilities. The rift between President Donald Trump and his one-time ally Elon Musk is growing with the richest person in the world saying he will create a new political party in response to the passing of Trump's massive tax and spending bill. Musk says the new political party, called the America Party, could target just a handful of seats in Congress and then act as a the deciding votes on key laws.
