The One Show comes live from Glasgow for the first of three special programmes in the lead up to the Commonwealth Games. Violinist Nicola Benedetti joins Matt and Alex to talk about her starring role in the opening ceremony, along with Ade Adepitan and Iwan Thomas with their ones to watch at Glasgow 2014. Joe Crowley starts his referendum road trip around Scotland, and we meet a future British star of table tennis.

Based on Martha Wells' book series The Murderbot Diaries, an action-packed story about self-hacking security android who is horrified by human emotion yet drawn to its vulnerable clients. Murderbot must hide its free will and complete a dangerous assignment when all it really wants is to be left alone to watch futuristic soap operas and figure out its place in the universe.
