Picking up 10 months after the intense events of Season 1, The Pitt Season 2 plunges viewers into a chaotic Fourth of July weekend at Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center.

On July 4th, Robby meets his replacement for his upcoming sabbatical, and a familiar face returns to the Pitt.

8:00 A.M.
Distracted by her impending deposition, King suffers a fall. Then, while Al-Hashimi attempts to revolutionize the department's technology, Javadi sizes up the competition.

9:00 A.M.
After a fatal motorcycle collision, a husband and wife are rushed to the ER. As King and Javadi deal with a bickering family, Santos is forced to check her assumptions about a possible case of child abuse, and Robby bonds with a Tree of Life survivor.

10:00 A.M.
When a nearby hospital unexpectedly closes, Robby and his team take charge of the area's emergency cases – including a parkour mishap and a rare heart attack. Then, Langdon learns of Javadi's growing social media following.

11:00 A.M.
While the team receives an inmate transfer, Ogilvie gets his first exposure to several workplace hazards, and Robby attempts to prevent a patient from going septic. Later, Langdon and Robby must work together to save someone close to them.

12:00 P.M.
As the crew reels from a loss, McKay and Javadi tend to a cancer patient, Langdon witnesses the aftermath of a hot dog eating contest, and Santos falls victim to the pitfalls of AI. Meanwhile, Al-Hashimi and Robby clash over how to deal with an inmate.

While Dana tends to a sexual assault victim, Abbot helps an officer injured in the field, and Mohan attempts to keep her uninsured patient in the ER.

2:00 P.M.
In the wake of an IT shutdown, Princess must manage a completely analog ER. Al-Hashimi, Mohan, and King assess a woman with sudden blindness.

3:00 P.M.
With systems still down, Dana calls in an old friend with experience running a low-tech ER - but not before one of Javadi's patients slips through the cracks. Santos tends to the young victim of a fireworks explosion and Robby makes Whitaker an offer.

4:00 P.M.
After an incident at a nearby water park, several critical patients are rushed to the Pitt. Later, Al-Hashimi confronts Robby about his outburst.
