Episode 1
Ben Shephard presents as 14 people from all walks of life come together to attempt to climb one of New Zealand's highest peaks and win a share £200,000. With their progress tracked by the menacing Mountain's Keeper, they have just 14 days to make the 100km journey across treacherous terrain and perilous crossings. Pub landlady Miranda must face her fears and prove she is not slowing the group down, while self-styled 'shark' Dockers singles out his competition and makes an early bid to be a leader. The Mountain's Keeper then tests the group's resolve to get to the summit by forcing them to make a brutal decision, causing tensions to boil over in a dramatic fallout that leaves the team divided.

Episode 2
The fallout from the brutal bridge chop, which saw the mountain claim its first victim, is still simmering as construction manager Dockers is singled out as a game-player and not to be trusted. After the group endure a gruelling eight-hour uphill hike weighed down by prize money, the Mountain's Keeper presents them with a difficult dilemma. Ben Shephard presents.

Episode 3
The group has now been reduced from 14 to 11 as brutal hikes and treacherous crossings prove too much for some. After they grapple with who should leave the mountain at the first vote-off, the Mountain's Keeper forces their hand yet again with a difficult decision that has everyone feeling vulnerable. Will the ensuing elimination see the group vote with their heads or their hearts?

Episode 4
The 14 Brits who set off to climb one of New Zealand's highest peaks are down to 10. Having made it to the second base camp, they face a vote-off presided over by host Ben Shephard. As an exhausting snow hike sees the nine remaining climbers tested physically and mentally, call centre worker Sean struggles to keep up, a challenging rope crossing sees influencer Tara forced to find unconventional methods to stay on track, and the Mountain's Keeper sets a dramatic test.
