In Hintervorderbach, there is only one property they can afford: the abandoned and vacant demolition house of a former Nazi, secretly known as "SS-Heinz". They first get a crowbar for the "apartment viewing," which brings their curious and vigilant neighbor Veronika into the picture. The three boys quickly realize that the building is in a miserable state, but their desire for freedom and self-determination prevails.
