Season 1
Episodes

Jäätynyt helvetti
After the First World War, Europe is divided. The alliance between Germany and the Soviet Union, between Hitler and Stalin, starts World War II. At the same time, the arctic war also begins, the first stage of which is Finland. The first episode of the Silent Arctic Wars series follows the battles of the Winter War through the eyes of the international media. Battles in the middle of snow and ice get a lot of attention. At the same time, the eyes of the great powers turn to neighboring Norway. The minerals of the north are of particular interest.

Kilpajuoksu pohjoiseen
The German military industry is in dire need of more iron ore. Hitler sets his sights on the coast of Norway and especially on the port of Narvik, through which iron ore mined from Sweden is transported. The British Winston Churchill also makes his own plans for taking over the Norwegian coast. The second episode of the Silent Arctic Wars series follows the battles of the parties to take control of the mineral transports in the harsh mountain conditions of Northern Norway. The Allies finally manage to corner Germany, but at the last moment victory falls into Hitler's lap.

Hitlerin uhkapeli
Hitler decides to take a risk and invades the Soviet Union. In the north, the goal is to take over the Petsamo mine, the port of Murmansk and the Murmanni railway. Finland joins the war alongside Germany. In the third episode of the Silent Arctic Wars series, we follow how the attack planned as a quick summer war freezes in the heat and the Germans face a cold arctic winter. The allies are dissatisfied with Finland's actions and decide to tighten their grip on the Arctic region. The war expands and the parties begin to fight a convoy war in the Arctic Ocean and a weather war on the Arctic islands.

Arktiset erikoisoperaatiot
The scale of World War II increases when the United States joins the war. In the fourth episode of the Silent Arctic Wars series, allied commando forces strike the coast of Norway. Spy bases are established in the border regions and the Norwegian resistance forces are activated. Landing in Norway is also planned. Hitler gets worried and directs more resources to the north. Soviet prisoners of war are pouring into construction sites in Norway and Finland. The weather war and the convoy war are intensifying. In Finland, the Germans are fighting a positional war and the gaps in the military leadership are falling apart. The position of the Germans in the north begins to crumble.

Kylmä rintama murtuu
The Allies are planning the Normandy landings and are setting up a major deception operation in the north. The commando attacks continue and the resistance movement increases. Hitler continues his massive construction projects in Norway, even though the situation is threatening. He plans to hold on to the iron ore transport and the Petsamo nickel mine until the end. In the fifth episode of the Silenced Arctic Wars series, we follow how Hitler begins to plan the withdrawal of troops from the northern front. The Soviet Union finally forces Finland to start a war against the Germans.

Pohjoinen palaa
The Germans start a thousands of kilometers long withdrawal operation on the eve of the arctic winter. The Soviet Union begins its major offensive in the north, while the Finns press the Germans to the huge Sturmbock defense line. In the last episode of the Silenced Arctic Wars series, we follow how the Germans retreat with scorched earth tactics and at the same time try to complete the defensive positions at Lyngen in Norway. Hitler's megalomaniacal construction projects drive prisoners of war to death and cannibalism. World War II ends, leaving behind a devastated Arctic.
