Season 2

Episodes

Episode 1
The Splendor is in Iceland for the very first time in its history, embarking on a cruise that will take in some of Scandinavia's most stunning scenery. And it's not just the port of call that's different: Lizzie is the brand-new social hostess, or as she's affectionately dubbed, "The First Lady of the Ship". Formerly a cruise ship singer/dancer, it's the first time Lizzie has stepped into this role, where she's responsible for all the social aspects, from cocktail parties to hosting dinners, crafting activities and games. Lizzie is hoping to prove to her bosses that she is worth re-hiring after her probation period ends. But it's not plain sailing. No sooner does the ship leave Iceland than stormy weather scuppers its planned docking in Heimaey, resulting in an unexpected day at sea. This means the crew need to keep the high-paying passengers entertained throughout the day without any planning. We get a thrilling glimpse into what money can buy on board this six-star floating hotel, which even includes an extensive pillow menu on offer to guests, from water pillows to buckwheat pillows and even a tri-side anatomic pillow! With over 150 excursions included with every cruise, Destinations Manager Roland is a very busy man. But when a call comes in requesting a bespoke, off-menu trip, he has his work cut out. With just a few days to put together the trip of a lifetime, can Roland deliver an excursion to remember? At the conclusion of the cruise is a dazzling, no-expense-spared 4th of July celebration, bringing together the whole entertainment team to end the voyage with a bang. Will the party be a hit with the guests? And can Social Hostess Lizzie blow passengers away with her solo number?

Episode 2
The World's Most Expensive Cruise Ship is continuing its journey through the majestic fjords of Scandinavia. The pressure is on for Assistant Cruise Director Lucy, who has to step up unexpectedly and cover for her boss, Lorraine. With a ferociously busy cruise ahead, and unpredictable weather conditions, it will be a baptism of fire for Lucy, who has never had to run the show alone before. Will she be able to deliver the holiday of a lifetime for her guests? Also helping run the on-board entertainment is rookie social hostess Lizzie. With brand new guests boarding, she has another chance to impress her bosses and prove that she is worth hiring when her probationary time on board ends. It'll be no easy feat, as Lizzie is not only tasked with organising a wedding vow renewal ceremony in under 48 hours, but also making sure that the ship's solo travellers are well looked after. Lorraine returns at the end of the cruise - but will Lizzie have done enough to secure a new contract? Along the way, General Manager Franck reveals the mammoth budget spent on flowers alone to adorn the decks and shows his utter perfectionism when he tours the ship to make sure there's not a rogue speck of dust in sight. Chief housekeeper Pitchie has her work cut out to make sure over 350 suites are six-star perfect in under four hours.

Episode 3
In Bergen, the company's food tsar arrives onboard the Seven Seas Splendor to check fine dining standards are being maintained, a new entertainment team take to the stage, and there are tears as veteran captain Felice hands over control. Plus, a look at the ship's laundry emporium, where Mr Ju and his team wash thousands of items every day.

Episode 4
The Seven Seas Splendor is on a Baltic Odyssey, with stunning views readily available from the passengers' panoramic balconies. Taking in impressive destinations such as Norway and Latvia, the ship is nearing the end of season at sea and the crew on board want to go out with a bang.
In charge of all the ship's entertainment, Cruise Director Lorraine is laying on a special night on board, called Crew Capers. An exhilarating variety show performed at the end of the cruise, it's the chance for crew members to perform in front of the guests. And Lorraine is using her twenty-five years of experience to debut a brand new dance: the Synchronised Flamingos. She has the outfits, but does she have the crew members? After one of her performers fails to show at rehearsals, it's a nervous wait until the big night.
Meanwhile, Executive Head Chef Ronald and Food and Beverages Director Roberto are preparing for a show-stopping evening of indulgence beneath the stars, an open-air barbecue on the top deck of the ship. But in order to pull off the extravagant event, they'll need to close all 5 of the high-end a la carte restaurants and band together every single chef on board. High risk, high reward. But will the romantic and luxurious barbecue be a success?
Also gunning for glory is Cape Town native and beer-loving Sommelier, Donovan – protégé to the respected and lauded Head Sommelier, Georgiana. She has ear-marked him as her successor when she leaves the ship for a well-earned break, but hers are big shoes to fill. In order to make sure Donovan is up to the challenge, Georgiana sets him a series of tasks. Will his performances be enough to convince her that he is worthy of wearing the coveted Head Sommelier jacket?
