The couple want a project; but with a second child due in a matter of months, not too much of a project. They have a healthy budget, but a challenging wish list. When Phil finds them something suitable it's time to get tough with the agent.

They are set on open-plan living and a huge, wraparound garden. It's a search that takes Phil to his wit's end. Kirstie's searching with first-time buyer Beccy and her mum Lucy. Beccy's move straddles three counties: Cambridgeshire, Northants and Norfolk. She has saved for a deposit and is desperate to get her independence, but is scared of making a mistake with her hard-earned cash. Kirstie needs to help strengthen Beccy's resolve.

Kirstie's hunting for a flat for Dani, who moved to Brighton to be closer to her kids when her marriage ended. Having rented for 12 months, she's decided Brighton is where she wants to put down fresh roots. Previously a hot air balloon pilot, Dani's certainly not afraid of adventure, but Kirstie soon discovers that when it comes to buying property, she's terrified. Phil's helping young first-time buyers Katy and Charlie. They've been quite spoilt while living with Katy's mum in their favourite spot of Fiveways in Brighton. Things were quite comfy until baby Lola came along. And with the addition of Harper the dog it's become a little too cosy. With a budget that won't cut it in Fiveways, they say they're prepared to compromise, but it's up to Phil to test it out.

Phil soon discovers that moving away from school, friends and the lifestyle they're used to could divide this family more than unite them.
